Lisa Ann Claver

About the Artist:

Lisa began as a sculptured bead artist, whose work has appeared in Bead & Button, Beadwork, Lapidary Journal, & Jewelry Craft Magazines. She has also had her work published in Myths & Folklore by Miyuki, and numerous catalogs.

Currently, she travels throughout the United States teaching for Bead Retreats, Magazines, and Stores.  She also teaches in local bead shops and is a regular teacher at the Irvine Fine Arts Center in Irvine, California.

 Lisa says, "My current passion, sculptured lamp work beads, has been a desire that is finally manifesting -  to my delight.  I create 3 dimensional arts by sculpting Italian glass under a torch.  My designs are from a space deep within myself where I can come to a place where I lose track of time.  I create art to wear, unique, individual, with a personality.  I also accept custom orders for Goddesses and Angels, matching skin tone, hair color and hearts in colors that are favorite to the receiver.  Personalized gifts with a personality, that’s what I do!  And, I love it!"

All of Lisa's beads are annealed in a kiln for durability and a long life. Each bead is hand made, so there will always be slight (delightful) variations from one bead to another of the same design.
